Scouting Washington County

This special exhibit takes an in-depth look at the rich history of the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts in Washington County. Featuring scouting memorabilia from local troops in Brenham and Burton, visitors can explore a collection of photographs, artifacts, and souvenirs, including items from national jamboree trips led by the late Dr. Wilfred Dietrich, a cherished scoutmaster and one of the museum’s founders.
The exhibit will be on display until June 21, 2025. Don’t miss it! Stop by the Brenham Heritage Museum, located at 105 S Market Street in Downtown Brenham, Wednesday through Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm.
Admission is $5 for adults, and children 12 and under get in for free!
