The volunteer opportunities that are currently available are:
- Docent (greets and guides museum visitors)
- Tour Docent (assists with large tour groups)
- Special Events Volunteer (assists during special events & public programs)
- Other (if you have another idea of how you may get involved, please let us know!)

- Brief personal background/statement
- Times/days you would be able/willing to volunteer
- Which volunteer opportunity you would be interested in (docent, tour docent, special events volunteer, other)

Volunteer Background Check Policy:
The Brenham Heritage Museum requires all future volunteers to undergo a background check before being scheduled for volunteer shifts. This background check will be conducted by a credible third-party service to ensure accuracy and privacy. The consent form for the background check will be sent to you in a follow-up email after your initial volunteer inquiry. Please note that the background check will only be performed once we have received your written consent.
You have the right to withhold your permission for the background check. If you choose to do so, no background check will be conducted, and your application will not be processed further.
